Scopey

Scopey is sired by Stellar and his dam is Neat. This was the third litter bred by Linda. They were born at Christmas time and each puppy had a reindeer name. Scopey started out as Rudolph because indeed for a long time had a red nose. Always a fan of tri color Border Collies, she knew she’d be keeping “Rudolph” from the moment he was born because he had the total package….
In case you didn’t notice, the Stellar/Neat puppies all have “Super” in their names. Rudolph of course was the most famous reindeer of all, but this Stellar/Neat pup is destined (hopefully) to be the most super of all. “Scope” or “Scopey” is an equestrian term that describes the character of a horse’s jumping effort. The definition of scope is somewhat nebulous, but you can read about it here. At this stage it appears that Scopey will live up to his call name and be an incredibly talented and scopey jumper. Watch and listen for him in 2012. He’ll be the one barking.
